Black Bean Pilaf Recipe

Easy rice pilaf recipe loaded with black beans.

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup butter
  • 2 pkgs ramen noodles- crumbled into small pieces
  • 2 cups hot water
  • ½ cup beef broth
  • 1 cup white rice
  • ¼ cup canned black beans- drained & rinsed
  • 1 tbsp onion flakes
  • 2 tsp granulated garlic
  • 1 cup freeze dried bell peppers
  • salt pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat
  • Add broken noodles & cook until slightly brown
  • Add bouillon, rice, seasonings & water
  • Cover & cook over low for approx 20 minutes or until rice is cooked
  • Add freeze dried bell peppers
  • Stir gently & serve
