Easy Pork Onion Gravy

A simple pork based onion gravy that's great on everything.

  • 1/2 white onion- minced
  • 3 cups drippings from slow cooker after you remove your cooked pork shoulder or loin
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 4 tbsp cold water
  • salt/pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp garlic powder


  1. Peel & mince onion
  2. Add onions & stock to a saucepan & bring to a boil
  3. Mix flour & cold water in a small bowl & whisk until there are no lumps
  4. Slowly add flour/water mixture to the saucepan, stirring quickly until it's all mixed in
  5. Add in seasonings
  6. Turn heat down to a simmer, cover & cook 20-30 minutes or until onions are tender & gravy has thickened.
