Bananas Foster French Toast
Bananas Foster French Toast is thick & eggy french toast smothered in bananas cooked in a dark rum, banana liqueur & a thick caramel sauce. It's divine!

- 8 Large Eggs
- 3/4 Cup milk
- 1/4 Cup Brown Sugar
- 1 Tbsp Ground Cinnamon
- 1 Loaf Texas Style Toast or french bread cut thick we used Wonder Bread
- 1 stick butter
- 1 cup dark brown sugar
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup banana liqueur
- 1/4 cup dark rum
- 2 bananas - sliced
Whisk eggs, milk, brown sugar & cinnamon together in shallow dish.
Dredge each piece of bread in mixture & transfer to griddle heated to 350 degrees
Cook until both sides are golden brown
Top with butter while warm.
In a large, deep skillet over medium heat, melt butter.
Stir in brown sugar, heavy cream, rum & banana liqueur.
When mixture begins to bubble, place bananas in pan.
Cook until bananas are hot, 2-3 minutes.
