Ingredients

  • 1 pound steak thinly sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper thinly sliced
  • 1 onion thinly sliced
  • 12 slider buns
  • 2 tablespoons butter melted and divided
  • 12 slices provolone cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil - divided

Salt and pepper to taste

    Instructions

    • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
    • In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Add the sliced ribeye steak, season it with salt and pepper, and cook until browned.
    • Remove from the skillet and set aside.
    • In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of olive oil if needed, and sauté the sliced onions and green peppers until they're tender and caramelized.
    • While the vegetables are cooking, slice the slider buns in half and place the bottom halves in a baking dish.
    • Brush the inside of the bottom with the melted butter. Reserve the remainder of the melted butter.
    • Spread the cooked steak evenly over the bottom halves of the slider buns.
    • Top with the sautéed onions and green peppers.
    • Place a slice of provolone cheese over each slider and cover with the top halves of the buns.
    • Brush the tops of the buns with the remaining butter.
    • Cover the baking dish with foil and bake in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes, until the cheese is melted and the sliders are heated through.
    • Remove from the oven, uncover, and serve hot.
