Prep Time 30 minutes minutes
Total Time 30 minutes minutes
Servings 10 servings
- ½ pound sliced meat like prosciutto, salami or ham
- ½ pound sliced cheese like provolone
- 1 round brie cheese
- 3 small rounds baby bel cheese
- 1 log goat cheese
- ½ pound asparagus blanched
- 1 cup grapes washed (red and/or green)
- 1 cup carrots
- 1 cup blueberries
- 1 cup raspberries
- 1 cup strawberries
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes halved
- 1 cup nuts
- 1 cup sliced cucumber
- ½ cup olives green and/or black
- 1 cup dried apricots
- 6 deviled eggs
- ¼ cup whole grain mustard and/or honey
- Fresh rosemary sprigs for garnish
Roses
Slice the meats and/or cheeses in half.
Lay the slices flat and slightly overlap them. Roll the sheet tightly from one end to create a central bud.
Then, arrange additional slices around the bud, gradually forming layers to resemble rose petals.
Secure the layers with toothpicks as needed.
Finally, shape and fluff the petals to achieve a more realistic rose appearance.
Assemble
Place the Brie in the middle of the platter.
Place one round of baby bel on the brie round.
Prop the other two rounds of baby bel under the round of brie.
Cut and shape the goat cheese into two ears. Place the ears over the brie.
Arrange the remaining ingredients in a balanced manner across the board to resemble a garden. Fill in any empty spaces with rosemary sprigs.
