  • 1 cup cheddar cheese - shredded
  • ½ cup pickled jalapenos - diced
  • ¼ cup green onions - chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 24 wonton wrappers

vegetable oil for frying

      Instructions

      • Combine the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar, diced jalapenos, chopped green onions, and garlic powder in a bowl. Mix until well combined.
      • Place a spoonful of the cream cheese mixture in the center of each wonton wrapper.
      • Moisten the edges of the wonton wrapper with water and fold it in half to create a triangle, ensuring the filling is sealed inside.
      • Heat the vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat.
      • Fry the wontons in the hot oil until they are golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes per side.
      • Remove the wontons from the oil and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to absorb excess oil.
      • Serve the Jalapeno Popper Wontons warm with sweet chili sauce for dipping.
