  • 14 large eggs you can also use medium-sized eggs

Instructions

  • Wash the eggs and pat them dry with a paper towel.
  • Place them, in a single layer, in the bottom of the air fryer.
  • Cook at 275 degrees for about 16 minutes.
  • Remove and immediately transfer them to an ice bath for at least 30 minutes.
  • Remove, dry them again with a paper towel, and then transfer them to a paper towel-lined bowl and keep them refrigerated until ready to serve.

Notes

An ice bath is one of the best ways to get a clean peel with a boiled egg since the air fryer doesn’t use water.
I used a 6-quart air fryer. If you have a smaller one, just use as many eggs as you can that will fit in one layer. Do not change the temperature or time.
Store-bought eggs peel much easier and cleaner than fresh farm eggs. I have yet to find something that truly works with fresh farm eggs.
The eggs will be very hot when coming out of the air fryer. I tend to let them sit in the air fryer basket for a couple of minutes before handling them. You can also use tongs if you want to get them in the ice bath sooner.
