- 16 oz asparagus fresh
- ½ cup water
- 4 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp minced garlic
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp pepper
- 2 tbsp Parmesan cheese grated, optional
Trim the bottoms of the asparagus off to be sure it fits in the Instant Pot.
Add the water, butter, garlic, salt, and pepper to the pot. Stir.
Turn the Instant Pot to SAUTE. Heat until the butter melts.
Add the asparagus in a criss-cross pattern.
Place the lid on the pot and lock in place. Set to sealing.
Cook on HIGH PRESSURE for 1 minute.
Quick release the pressure.
Remove the asparagus from the pot.
Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and serve.
