Ingredients

  • 2 pounds chicken tenders
  • 1 cup panko bread crumbs
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons water

Cooking Oil Spray OR Nonstick cooking spray

    Instructions

    • Preheat the oven to 450 degrees.
    • Prepare a large-rimmed baking sheet with an oven-safe wire cooling rack. Prepare the rack with nonstick cooking spray or cooking oil spray.
    • Stir together the panko bread crumbs and seasonings. Place the mixture in a shallow dish.
    • Beat together the egg and water until completely mixed.
    • Dip each chicken tender in the egg wash and then the panko mixture. Coat evenly on all sides and then place it on the prepared baking sheet.
    • Spray the chicken tenders with a spritz of cooking oil.
    • Bake for 12 to 14 minutes, flipping halfway and spraying the second side with oil when flipping.
    • Serve with your favorite dipping sauces.
