Ingredients

  • graham crackers
  • chocolate melting wafers
  • sprinkles

Instructions

  • Unwrap the graham crackers and break them apart into squares - if you are using traditional graham crackers. They are also available in squares instead of rectangles. You can use those and skip this step.
  • Place the chocolate wafers in a microwave-safe bowl and heat in 30-second intervals - stirring in between each interval until the chocolate is melted and smooth.
  • Dip each graham cracker square into the melted chocolate, coating both sides well.
  • Place the cracker on a parchment-lined baking sheet for the chocolate to set. If you want to add garnish to the crackers at this stage - you can do it now while the chocolate is wet.
  • Once the chocolate has set, transfer the remainder of the melted chocolate into a piping bag or decorator bottle fitted with a fine point round tip. Squeeze the melted chocolate onto the coated crackers in your desired pattern. Add sprinkles or other decorations if desired.
  • Allow to cool and firm completely before storing in an airtight container at room temperature.

Notes

Note - these can be made with any variety of graham crackers.
You can also use chocolate almond bark or any variety of chocolate chips. You might need to add 1-2 tbsp of coconut oil or shortening to the chocolate so that it melts well into a silky texture.
This can be made with any color of the melting wafers for any occasion.
Topping ideas - crushed graham crackers, sprinkles, jimmies, cookie crumbs, candies
