Ingredients

  • 2 Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cakes you can use 2-3 depending on how much cake you want
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 14 ounces sweetened condensed milk 1 can
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ cup red frosting pictured: Pillsbury Funfetti
  • Green sanding sugar for decoration

Instructions

  • Unwrap the Christmas Tree Cakes and cut them into small bite-sized pieces. Set aside.
  • In a large mixing bowl, beat the heavy cream using an electric mixer until stiff peaks form.
  • Gradually pour in the sweetened condensed milk while continuing to beat the mixture.
  • Add the vanilla extract.
  • Transfer half of the ice cream mixture into a loaf pan or any other freezer-safe container. Press some of the cake pieces into the ice cream. Pipe the red icing over the ice cream and cake pieces.
  • Continue creating layers, ending with a layer of the ice cream mixture.
  • Top with the green sugar.
  • Cover the pan with plastic wrap and freeze for at least 6 hours or until the ice cream is firm.
  • When ready to serve, scoop the Christmas Tree Ice Cream into bowls or cones.
  • Garnish each serving with green sugar sprinkles.

Notes

The prep time is an estimate because of the freezing time. Depending on your appliances and conditions, it could take more or less for the ice cream to set. Make sure to plan ahead and allow enough time for the ice cream to freeze to the desired consistency before serving.
