Ingredients
15.25ouncescake mix or 1 box - - Devil’s Food or whatever flavor you choose
2cupswhipped toppingthawed - such as cool whip
1large egg
½cupconfectioner’s sugar
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Line a baking sheet with parchment. Set aside.
In a medium bowl, combine the cake mix, whipped topping, and the egg.
Work the ingredients together with a large, firm spatula until it forms a cookie dough consistency.
Take a medium cookie scoop and portion out the dough, rolling each in the confectioner’s sugar before placing it on the baking sheet. Be sure to space them about 1-2” apart. They don’t spread too much, but you don’t want them too close for airflow.
Bake for 8-10 minutes.
Remove and allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for several minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
