2 ½cupsall-purpose flour
½cupcocoa powder
1cupplain yogurt
1cupchocolate chipsdivided
2tspbaking powder
½tspbaking soda
½tspsalt
½cupvegetable oilcanola, vegetable

Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350F. Then prepare a 12-muffin pan with 12 muffin liners. Set it aside.
Mix the dry ingredients (flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, salt) and ¾ cup of the chocolate chips in a bowl.
Then, beat the eggs in a large bowl. Stir in the yogurt, vanilla extract, and oil. Whisk to combine.
Next, incorporate dry ingredients with wet ingredients until well combined.
Finally, divide the muffin batter into the prepared muffin pan.
Bake for 20 to 22 minutes, or until an inserted toothpick comes out clean.
Let the muffins cool for 10 minutes in the pan, then transfer them onto a cooling rack, so they don’t get moist in the bottom.

TipsOptional: melt ¼ cup of chocolate chunks for 60 -90 seconds in the microwave. Then drizzle the melted chocolate all over the muffins, after baking.Store these muffins in a sealed bag at room temperature for up to four days, or seven days in the fridge (they’ll be less soft, though - so you might have to heat them in the microwave for a few seconds before serving).This is a freezer-friendly recipe.
