Turtle Ice Cream

Homemade Turtle Ice Cream is a sweet and creamy treat. It's loaded with Turtle Bites candy, fudge sauce, caramel syrup, and toasted pecans.

Ingredients

  • 2 large eggs
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 6.3 ounces Turtle Bites unwrapped and cut into quarters (1 package)
  • ¼ cup fudge sauce
  • ¼ cup caramel syrup
  • ¼ cup toasted pecans

Instructions

  • Beat the eggs with an electric mixer until light and foamy, about 1 minute. Slowly add the sugar and continue mixing until blended.
  • Add the heavy cream, milk, and vanilla, blending until combined.
  • Pour the liquid into the ice cream maker and freeze according to the manufacturer's instructions.
  • Just before the ice cream is completely set, add half of the chopped Turtle candies.
  • Transfer half of the ice cream into a freezer-safe container.
  • Add half of the fudge sauce, caramel sauce, and pecans.
  • Top with the remaining ice cream and then top that with the leftover fudge sauce, caramel sauce, and pecans.
  • Cover the container and freeze for 4 to 6 hours.

Notes

Makes 1 quart liquid and about 1 ½ quart frozen.
In the Cuisinart Ice Cream 2 quart machine, this takes approximately 30 minutes to freeze into a soft serve.
