Instructions
Preheat the grill to high heat, 450 to 500 degrees.
Place the ground beef in a large mixing bowl. Set aside.
In a medium bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, soy sauce, garlic, ginger, salt, and black pepper.
Pour β cup of the sauce mixture over the ground chuck. Mix the ground chuck with the sauce until well combined.
Divide the meat mixture into 6 portions and shape it into burger patties.
Place the burgers on the grill and cook for 8 to 9 minutes, flipping halfway. Just prior to removing from the grill, brush one side of the burger patties with more of the sauce mixture.
Flip the burgers and brush the second side with more of the sauce mixture.
Flip the burger again and cook until the sauce is caramelized. Repeat as desired.
Serve the burgers on buns with traditional toppings like lettuce, tomatoes, onion, and pickles, or serve with sliced pineapple.
