Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts - boneless/skinless
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 10.5 ounces cream of mushroom soup 1 can
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 tbsp Italian dressing mix just the powder
  • 2 tbsp heavy cream - you can also use milk
  • ¼ cup parmesan cheese
  • ½ cup mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
  • Lay the chicken breasts out in a 9x13 casserole dish that has been sprayed with cooking oil or cooking spray.
  • Season with salt and pepper to your liking.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, Italian seasoning, heavy cream, and parmesan cheese. Whisk to combine.
  • Pour this mixture over the top of the chicken.
  • Add the mozzarella cheese.
  • Bake, uncovered, for 30-40 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and has reached 165 degrees internal temperature. (you can carefully broil for the last 2-5 minutes for a golden brown top)
  • Serve with a sprinkle of parsley alongside a garden salad.
