Air Fryer Carrots

These air fryer carrots combine carrots with olive oil and smoky cheese for a unique flavor combination that makes for an easy side dish.

Ingredients

  • 8-10 carrots
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • 8 tbsp smoked cheese freshly grated

Instructions

  • Cut the carrots into 2–3-inch sticks and place them in a medium sized bowl.
  • Drizzle the carrots with olive oil, add the salt and pepper and toss until coated.
  • Transfer the carrots to the air fryer and cook them for 15 minutes at 360F. No need to preheat first.
  • Add half of the grated cheese and cook for another 5 minutes.
  • Serve with remaining grated smoked cheese on top.

Notes

TIP: Toss the carrots halfway through the cooking process to ensure they cook evenly.
To prevent burning cheese, do not add it until carrots are well cooked
Cook in bathes if necessary
