Juicy Smoked Beef Chuck Roast

This smoked chuck roast recipe is ready in 9 hours and is super juicy. Make this smoked beef chuck roast in your Traeger or smoker and you'll end up with some flavorful chuck roast!

Ingredients

 Remove the chuck roast from the refrigerator and let it sit at room temperature for one hour prior to smoking.

Preheat the smoker to 225°F. While it preheats, season your chuck roast.

Place the chuck roast directly onto grill grates and smoke until you have an internal temperature of 165°F. (5-6 hours)

Remove it from the smoker, place it on a piece of peach butcher paper, and add ½ cup of beef broth to the top of the chuck roast.

Wrap up roast in butcher paper and place the wrapped roast back onto the smoker. Cook for another 3 hours or until the internal temperature reads 190°F.

Remove the chuck roast from the smoker, wrap it in a heavy towel, and place it into a cooler to rest for one hour.
