I like to use the granulated garlic to give a light overall enhancement to the chili since it dissolves- while the minced garlic will give those pops of garlic in random spoonfuls. You don't absolutely have to use both, especially if you aren't a big garlic fan. It's not overpowering or noticeable, it just keeps something like this chili from being too bland. Also, remember that garlic salt is not the same as granulated garlic. A lot of people like to sub the two & that added salt can really ruin things.

This looks delicious, Can't wait to try it. I do have a question. Why is there 2 different garlics (granulated & minced)? Just want to make sure this is right before I make it. Thanks for any help you can give me. :) Have a wonderful and Blessed Day.
