I’ve made this several times. I also add about 1 1/2 cups of mozzarella to the cooked pasta before I add the ricotta mixture on top. Family just loves it.

We didn’t mix it in. It just sort of disburses as everyone takes their portion. But you could spread it out more evenly if you like.

We use Hunts in the can. There are many flavor options and it’s economical too.

Hi Gina! Can’t wait to make this recipe, I’ve made versions before but always looking for new, yummy recipes. Question: what kind of pasta sauce do you recommend? I usually use Raos Tomato & Basil when making spaghetti but curious what you suggest for skillet lasagna.

I have not tried it without it. Flour is one of the binding agents that holds the mixture together.

The ricotta mixture cooks for 5 minutes at the end – so there isn’t anything raw being ingested.

Made this tonight and it is both easy and wonderful! I am wondering however if anyone has ever had any concern or issues with the raw egg in the ricotta mixture?
