Thank you! I have a little experience with peppermint extract, I was making a chocolate peppermint bark over the holidays and accidentally spilled waaayyyyy more than I was supposed to into the mixture. After eating it I actually felt like I had just brushed my teeth! Lol 🙂

Hi Jessica – for these, if you are using the mint Oreos – it’s okay to omit the additional spearmint flavoring if you would like. You can add about 1/8 tsp peppermint extract – however it can be pretty strong & compete with the flavor already in the Oreos. I wouldn’t recommend any more than that for this recipe.
