I can’t see why that wouldn’t work. As long as there is a rim, like on a sheet pan, to catch any juices. I like to use Kings Hawaiian Rolls for this slider recipe.

I’m about to make this for a rather large baby shower, and it will be my first time. Does it have to be in a 9×13 casserole dish, or can I make it on a large, restaurant size, sheet pan? This way I could bake them all at once. Thanks! I’m so excited to make these! Oh! What slider buns do you recommend?

I think the idea is great – I have never tried it. My biggest concern would be how the croissants perform when coated with the butter sauce do they get soggy, or maybe too tough when baked. But it couldn’t hurt to give it a try. Please let me know how it turns out.

What do you think these would taste like if I used mini croissants? I have 60 small croissants I need to use or freeze. I’ve made this recipe many times and ALWAYS a huge hit! Pairing it with Rudy’s Creamed Corn & Calico Beans. I don’t want to ruin a good thing, but hey… save me some mullah!

I made these and did fine till I uncovered and set timer for 10 minutes. I should have watched them, they came out extra dark. I also think next time I will only use 1/2 stick of butter. They were way too wet. Had a great taste and I will cook again with tweaks.

You could remove them from the baking dish and place them in a slow cooker lined with paper towels. Make sure to keep it on warm so it doesn’t get too hot. Also, cover the tops of them with a paper towel – this will help absorb moisture that could develop. But overall- they will be best when enjoyed as close to when they are finished baking so I encourage you to not wait too long.

I was looking to make poppyseed sliders I had had at a baby shower. I knew basically what I needed except the sauce ingredients to brush on my own homemade slider buns. This recipe was perfect! So yummy. I got rave reviews on these. Thank you!!
