I&#039;m so glad you like it. To answer your question - lemonade in Spanish is Lemonada - because the recipe is for Lemonada, I included in the title &quot;Mexican Lemonade&quot; so people searching either of the terms would be able to find it. 

My aunt (of Mexican heritage) explained it to me this way -   in Mexico limes and lemons are both called Limones - they don&#039;t differentiate between the two as we do in the US. Our lemons are not too common in Mexico so Limonada is made with either lemons or limes. Typically when making US lemonade you would start with squeezed lemons/lemon juice but with this recipe, we are just pulverizing the lemons in the blender instead. Some people even leave the skins on - but I&#039;m not fond of what that does to the flavor, so I take them off. This is how my aunt always made it when I was growing up and what I&#039;m accustomed to.
