This turned out awesome! The meat was so tender, it fell apart as I took it out of the Instant Pot with tongs. I served it as sandwiches with homemade Dr Pepper barbecue sauce. Will definitely make this again!

My go-to BBQ pulled pork recipe. I have been making this for several years, and it is a family favorite. We have never deviated from the recipe because it’s delicious!

just increase the cooking time to 25 minutes per pound, instead of 20 for fresh.

You sure can make it in the slow cooker! It takes quite a bit longer – so just make sure you plan ahead. But it is still fabulous!

I was wondering this too. I have an instant pot, but was thinking of making this for a large crowd. If I could do one batch in the instant pot and one in the slow cooker,’it should make enough.
