The only thing that’s missing from my Canon 18-55 mm is the image stabilization. I’d love to have that.

You make me want to love my kit lens, too. And in reality I hardly ever use it. My 50mm almost never comes off my camera.

I use mine occasionally, especially for a wider angle since I don’t have a wide lens. I find my 85 is quirky, but I adore my 50 1.4. Really though, it’s a great exercise to work any lens for a while and push yourself to get the best you can.
