Kansas City Pulled Pork is an easy slow cooker recipe that’s perfect for summer. Almost effortless, it’s an easy family dinner idea that you’ll love.
It’s my favorite time of year. I’m a bicentennial baby, so I have always thought of this time of the year to be very special. We like to go all out and celebrate the whole 3 day weekend. One day we make ribs, one day we grill chicken or steak and one day we do a super easy crock pot dish to round out the weekend right. Of course, we have all the side dishes and plenty of desserts too. The weekend is fabulous with a full spread of food, which means I always look forward to it. I just got back from Kansas City, therefore I thought it would be great to make some pulled pork in the slow cooker. We used some of the BBQ sauce I picked up while I was there. I knew you would want the recipe, so I made sure to capture it before it was devoured by the family.
Kansas City Pulled Pork
We set up our spread in the backyard because the weather was absolutely gorgeous. Watermelon, pasta salad, corn on the cob, baked beans, iced tea and so much more to go with our pulled pork sandwiches.
This “red, white and blue” chip and dip compartment plate made me happy. I mean, blue and white chips paired with red salsa is perfect for 4th of July. The Chinet® Chip & Dip Party Tray made serving this super simple.
Since we go all out for 3 days straight, we also use Chinet® Classic White™ for our plates, and napkins, and Chinet® Cut Crystal®, cutlery. It really helps to cut down on the amount of dishes we would normally create in that amount of time. I like that the plates are white, so they compliment our party decor and the food. Plus they are super sturdy to hold up to a fully loaded plate full of delicious food. (Currently Chinet® Classic White™ plates and napkins are available at Publix – Find a store)
It’s all about bringing people together to celebrate life’s occasions- like a weekend of 4th of July festivities! The Chinet® brand offers quality disposable tableware to help make entertaining a little easier.
It was a fabulous meal that I can’t wait to make again. I mean, pulled pork is already one of my favorite foods on the planet. It’s almost effortless in the preparation, so you can’t go wrong. When I’m entertaining, I like things quick and easy but still impressive, which is what I get with Chinet® Cut Crystal® cups.
