You know something… I really do find some meaningful joy in photographing things like candy. I truly do. Photography is a way to really become connected with your subject because once you look through that viewfinder- you are (hopefully) solely focused on your subject. It’s then that you become very aware of every detail of that subject. I think that is why I really love taking photos of my food- but especially my candy. You really SEE it for more than what it is. This is why I decided to have a little Valentine photo play with these conversation hearts. I had so much fun taking these macros of these cute little conversation hearts. Just a few minutes is all it took but I came back in with a better mood. I don’t even really like to eat these- but the colors, the sayings, the shape- it all makes me smile.
That last one- yep, that’s for you all…. my dear friends. I do love you all.
