Happy Sunday Everyone!
Today will be an enormously stressful day as we watch the final football games. Always more stressful when your team is playing right??!! But that’s okay- I am a huge lover of football & truly enjoy this time of year. I am a bit sad though because playoffs mean that the season is coming to a close & it will be 7 long months before it starts up again. It’s been a great year of football.
As for the pictures- I tried to be a bit more mindful in my choices this time. These prompts were hard but last week I thought they were easier. I put my post together & then when I looked back on it when it was live I was less that thrilled with my choices for the week. So I am going to take this a bit more seriously in an effort to not just participate but grow my craft & hone my skills.
This week was a busy one- new product photo clients with fun things to photograph. I will be sharing that stuff coming up here soon. Lots of great things coming up this week here- so be sure to keep coming back.
Basket
Park
Auto
Recycle
I recycled some Christmas ornaments into these decorative rope balls for some texture. More HERE
People Watching
That pretty much sums it up for me this week.
Not a whole lot of explanations needed- I think the images pretty much speak for themselves.

I think you’re too hard on yourself. I think your photos are all gorgeous! Your People Watching photo is my favorite. I love the pop of turquoise on the wharf…and how convenient that her vest matches the paint color! Have a great week!
I’m still loving those ornaments! The lighting in basket is beyond stunning!
I really like your basket shot. You usually see shots like that against a white background, so the dark background makes it unique and interesting. The lighting is great on the berries and they look so juicy and delicious!
Love that basket shot! I didn’t hunt this week. Way too busy. I’m going to make it happen next week!
Lovin that people watching shot! Great composition with that loire as a leading line!
Arrggghhh I ADORE the basket shot, simply stunning. Your take on recycle is super duper clever too
I thought this week was difficult too…love your people watching shot
fun, creative choices, i really enjoyed them all!!
people watching is my favorite because my heart skipped a beat to see a boardwalk intact!! sandy destroyed all our beautiful boardwalks and i think it’s going to be a while before we see them looking like themselves again!!! it just reminded me of my wonderful, seashore roots!
awesome choices for the prompts!
You ARE being too hard on yourself. I loved your photos. Especially PEOPLE WATCHING on the dock.
Who are you cheering for? I know there are two big games, so not sure which. My hubby has to pull for the Atlanta Falcons, as we are from Atlanta. Hope it isn’t too stressful.
. Love your set! Enjoy the game!
Hi Gina! This is a great series and it’s hard to pick a favorite but that basket shot is just beautiful!! Good luck with the games today!
Happy hunting next week!:D
For some reason I have not followed this football season as closely as ones before. Really not sure why. I am a Patriots fan, so I still have some cheering to do. I think you did a fine job on your pictures and especially like the composition of the auto shot.
all your photos are lovely
i feel like i need to run out and get some blackberries right this second! i love the recycle shot, such a great idea, too! and i’m pretty sure we have the same car. great set this week. and i also thought the prompts to be kinda hard.
The basket picture is my favorite! Love the colors and mood.
I think we all have posts that we think are good, publish and think …. WHAT! We are human and our pictures are an extension of us. Not everyday or week is great, but we get up the next day and keep taking pictures.
How are you cheering for in the Super Bowl?
