So I still have a few things to cross off this list. I’m thinking this weekend- which will be way too late for this post but at least I will accomplish more of what I set out to do this Christmas season. I have been having fun in the kitchen making all sorts of things. The best part is that I have been able to send most of it to the firehouse so I only have a few tastes & then the rest of it, along with the calories will not be consumed by me. There isn’t enough snow to shovel to burn off that many calories!!!
I did whip up some homemade Peppermint Hot Chocolate, some Sea Salt Fudge (catch that recipe on yesterday’s post) and the kids played in the snow. We have had little bits of snow each day since we have been here. Unfortunately it’s been just warm enough that it melts most of it by the time the next round comes- so we have very little accumulation. I’m sure I will get my fill of it all soon enough. But we are enjoying what we have none the less because it’s still warm & DRY back in Nevada & I would have given my left arm for days like this if we were still living down there.
