I have been promising my family that I would make something “fall festive” with the apples that were in the fridge. I finally did it & oh my gosh- this came out so fabulous. My family LOVED it. In fact my hubs stated to me that I was not to give any more to the kids because he didn’t want to share. I did give them some more- I couldn’t do that to them. I didn’t have any vanilla ice cream on hand so I decided to make a little vanilla frozen yogurt instead. The slight tang of the frozen yogurt was the perfect complement with the sweet richness of the caramel flavor. I will be making this Apple Oat Crisp recipe & Vanilla Frozen Yogurt recipe again for sure!!! Recipe adapted from Taste of Home.
