Usually I have a really hard time picking my top 5 pics of the kids each quarter. But ever since the whole image theft issue I have taken far less pictures of the kids & therefore there are far less to weed through & whittle down. But I did have some that I really love & so I thought they should be included here. If you notice I am having a slight love affair with B&W lately.
This is from the munchkin’s b-day session. I love her deep thought between smiles.
This is from our most recent trip to Dante’s Peak in Death Valley,CA. I love the vivid colors & it was a great day.
This one & the next were from a short session I did with the kids for some prints I wanted to have done for my mom for her birthday.
And then there is this one. Full of flaws but it was from our time spent during the munchkin’s birthday celebration. Overall it was a fantastic day & I was having so much fun with my son’s waterproof point & shoot. This image makes me smile- so I had to include it for the quarter.

Love the abstract quality of the last one. Your black and white’s are very crisp and have a nice tone.
How did you capture the underwater shot? I never would have guessed Death Valley had such great colors! Great captures

I am absolutely in LOVE with the first one – the photo is fantastic and I love the emotion that you can practically feel looking at it. What a beautiful contrast in the B&W too!
Great choices – although I would have put some of your lovely food pictures in there as well! I agree with you about your second shot – the colours are so strong to match the powerful scenery.

Oh friend!! Your children have a quality about them… whenever I see their smiles from my screen, I literally break out into a HUGE smile right back!!! No kidding. I think I’ve said it before… they have such a sweet demeanor about them, innocent… I don’t know how to describe it. It’s rare to see, but oh it’s refreshing when you see it!!! GORGEOUS children and wonderful pictures.
